The Corporation for Supportive Housing, also known as CSH, is a national, nonprofit organization that was founded in 1991. The organization also serves as a community development financial institution that provides permanent housing options for homelessness people throughout California, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, New Jersey and New York. It has supported the creation of more than 20,000 housing units for over 26,000 adults and children. The Corporation for Supportive Housing works with nonprofit groups to develop and manage housing units. The organization conducts evaluations and studies in the areas of building partnerships and legal issues. It provides financial and technical assistance services, as well as produce quality reports.
