Stericycle uses various waste treatment and disposal methods, including incineration, steam autoclaves and electrothermal deactivation, which is a proprietary radio wave technology for the treatment of regulated medical waste. It also monitors product recall, return and retrieval services for pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer products companies. Additionally, Stericycle offers a range of medical products, such as soaps, sanitizers, disinfectants, gloves, masks, gauze sponges, and medical waste and sharps containers. The company owns and operates more than 35 waste processing facilities.
