Assembly Member Steve Englebright
Elected to the New York State Assembly in 1992, Assemblyman Steve Englebright (D, Setauket) is a former Suffolk County Legislator with a background in science and education. His previous experiences have allowed him to formulate practical public policy, such as the Pesticide Use Reporting Act of 1996, which has made possible research of the link between pesticide use and certain types of cancer. Englebright, who has lived in Setauket since 1973, has an office next to the Pen and Pencil Building on Main Street in East Setauket.
