The Church of St. Jude is an Episcopal congregation that has been serving the Wantagh community since its founding in February 1956. The church's sanctuary is located on an acre of land in a residential neighborhood known as Wantagh Woods. The facility also includes a Sunday School wing that is connected to the church sanctuary. A parish hall wing, which accommodates 314 people and used for church breakfasts, dinners and other social gatherings, was dedicated in 1992. A Bible study group meets at the church every Thursday morning.
