The Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce, with more than 300 members, is a strong advocate for the business communities in and around Buchanan, Cortlandt Manor, Croton-on-Hudson, Montrose, Peekskill, Putnam Valley and Verplanck. The chamber provides a range of advocacy, networking, professional and economic development programs, including: Social and networking events Seminars Tourist Information Center Its annual events include participating in community days run in each community it serves. Its members include not only commercial and real estate professionals but also artistic, non-profit and educational institutions. Some of the membership benefits include group insurance coverage, advertising opportunities, special events, referrals and professional development. Its scholarship fund awards prizes annually to graduating seniors at Croton-Harmon, Hendrick Hudson, Lakeland, Peekskill, Putnam Valley and Walter Panas high schools.
