Seamen's Society for Children and Families offers a variety of social and welfare services to physically and mentally challenged children and adults. It organizes a variety of programs, such as social work, adult and community education, family health care and literacy. The center offers individual and group counseling services. It also organizes various programs for children facing child abuse, foster placement and psychiatric problems. The center also organizes entertainment programs that include creative, social and physical activities, hobby classes and community educational programs. It additionally organizes camps and school programs, such as group discussions, drug and alcohol prevention seminars, and child and money management. The center offers 24-hour health care services. It is located in Staten Island, N.Y.
