Established in 1974, The Rockefeller Archive Center is an independent institution that provides reference services for researchers. It is a division of The Rockefeller University .The center serves more than 250 on-site researchers annually. It includes a collection of business records and documents on various topics. The Rockefeller Archive Center features more than 35,000 cubic feet of documents, over 500,000 photographs and nearly 3,000 films related to various subjects, such as agriculture, art, international relations and economic development. The center also maintains archival storage vaults and a reading room that accommodates more than five researchers. The Rockefeller Archive Center preserves documents of The Rockefeller University, Rockefeller Foundation and Rockefeller Brothers Fund. It additionally has a collection of documents from nonprofit organizations. The center is located in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.
