Riverside Elementary opened its doors in 1921 as an eight-room school that taught 157 students in grades 1 - 6. Currently headed by Principal Patricia Bock, it now serves just under 170 students in kindergarten to fifth grade. All core subjects are taught at Riverside, along with art, band, orchestra, ESL and music. It also boasts the STELLAR program, which stands for Success Technology Enrichment Literacy Library and Research.
