History
Columbia County Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1993 to make safe, decent affordable home ownership available to working families. Partnering with families, community volunteers and area businesses and organizations, Habitat helps transform lives. Together, we build affordable and sustainable houses that become the foundation of our homeowners' paths to strong, stable and independent lives and futures for themselves and their children. To generate revenue for building projects as well as encourage re-use and recycling, Habitat also operates ReStore, located adjacent to our office on Route 66, just north of 9H in Hudson, NY. We appreciate your support of our vision and work.
