Martinec Building & Remodeling grew quickly. The garage workshop and home office soon became insufficient for the needs of the business so George rented an office and shop in Big Flats that were shared with another company. After several years, the property was purchased and the business expanded into the entire facility at 83 Canal Street. Gradually, work was done to improve the property and meet the needs of a growing company. New offices and work areas were added as the company grew from one to seventeen employees. In 2005 plans were started to expand yet again-this time adding a 2,200 square foot showroom of kitchen and bath displays.
