Dr. Remy Rabinovich is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the comprehensive management of traumatic, sports-related and degenerative conditions of the hand, wrist and elbow. He is a native of Monmouth County, New Jersey and spent most of his time growing up on or around the ice hockey rink. He attended Rutgers University, graduating summa cum laude, and then went on to earn his M.D. degree at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Upon graduating medical school, he earned the Distinction in Service to the Community Award after he founded an exercise and nutrition program that helped educate underprivileged teenagers.Following medical school, Dr. Rabinovich completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he served as chief resident during his final year. He then further pursued subspecialty training and completed a hand/upper extremity and microsurgery fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. During fellowship, he concentrated on the treatment of patients with a wide variety of injuries and conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow; including complex fractures, amputations, ligament/tendon injuries, peripheral nerve trauma and compressive neuropathies, tendinitis and arthritis.
