Redeeming Love Christian Center, RLCC, started as a quaint gathering on Sunday Sept. 7, 1980 in the living and dining rooms of the Hackensack, NJ home of Pastors Clinton and Sarah Utterbach. Since then, the number of people grew to today's congregation of almost 3,000 and the center spans over 18.8 acres in Nanuet at the intersection of Route 59 and Hutton Ave. The center now has a church that seats 3,600 as well as an educational wing. During the 10:30am Sunday service, the Nursery and Early Learning facilities are available for children between six weeks - two years.
Pastor Sarah Utterbach also hosts a radio outreach, "The Choice is Yours," started in March of 1993 as a live call-in talk show. Today, it broadcasts live Thursday evenings from 11:00pm - 1:00am (ET) on WMCA 570 AM. Listeners can call in and speak with the pastor at 1-800-345-9622 or (outside the US) 1-201 298-9622. Another radio outreach, "Listen to Jesus," was broadcasted daily and on weekends nationwide and abroad. Though it last aired in 2005, segments of this broadcast are now available online.
Clinton Utterbach started a group called the Praisers to teach his congregation praise music. Starting with 22 singers in March of 1985, the group grew to today's 45 singers and musicians with several original recordings along the way.
RLCC also offers two outreach ministries, Saints Outreach Squad aids members who are housebound and hospitalized, and Victorious Violated Victims helps those in physically or mentally abusive relationships.
There is also a second ranch in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains called Redeeming Love Christian Village.
