Acorn Community High School
ACORN Community High School, administered by The New York City Department of Education, serves students in grades 9 through 12. The high school offers a variety of academic and extracurricular options to students. Its curriculum includes math, science, social studies, world languages, language arts and special education. ACORN Community High School also offers special educational courses and programs in technology and law and communications. The high school provides opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities through sports activities, photography and journalism clubs, and fashion and talent shows. In addition, it offers the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) college-bound program for middle school students. ACORN Community High School is located in Brooklyn, N.Y.
