Lisa Donneson, a musician and businesswoman turned vintner, founded Bouke Wines in 2007 with the help of Gilles Martin as consultant winemaker. Ms. Donneson's goal is to produce food-friendly wines such as Rose, Perlant and various reds and dessert wines, ideal for entertaining. All of Bouke wines are blends of locally-grown grapes with colorful labels and can be found at The Tasting Room in Peconic, as well as in restaurants throughout Long Island, New York City and in Maryland.
