Edward Mandell Elementary School, located at the intersection of 108th Street and the Horace Harding Expressway, is a school of roughly 500 students under the supervision of a staff of more than 33 teachers and administrators. The school prides itself on creating high school preparation courses that challenge students, as well as encourage creativity and problem solving at all levels. The school is under the direction of principal Josette Pizarro, who has created a learning environment in which parents, teachers and staff propel students into the future together.
