Each year, the China Institute Gallery presents two exhibitions, each accompanied by an in-depth scholarly catalogue. What unites all of the exhibits is an intimate, first-class exploration of a specific theme related to Chinese art and culture throughout the last 5,000 years of Chinese history.Admission to the China Institute GalleryWhen an exhibit is on display, the China Institute Gallery is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8 p.m. The Gallery is closed in between exhibitions and on major holidays.Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for students and seniors (with valid ID), and free for children under 12 and for members of the China Institute, the Asia Society, and Channel Thirteen.
