Established in 1992, Pathway to Housing is an organization that provides homes to homeless people with psychiatric disabilities. It also provides services, such as health treatments, consultation about nutrition, vocational planning, socializing and recreation activities. The organization has received the Catalogue for Philanthropy Award in 2008, Excellence in Innovation Awards in 2007, National Alliance to End Homeless John E. Macy Award for Individual Achievement in 2006 and First Place for Community Mental Health Program in 2005. Catering to the areas of New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia, Pathway to Housing has received grants from Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
