History
The original Parm was a sandwich shop that opened in 2011 on Mulberry Street. It was the first sandwich shop to receive two stars from the New York Times. That sandwich shop is still located in Nolita, and we honor that tradition in all restaurants through take-out, delivery and catering that feature our signature sandwiches.
Specialties
With humble yet ambitious beginnings in a cozy space in the heart of Little Italy, Parm is a chef-driven concept created by renowned chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi, and restauranteur Jeff Zalaznick. Famous for Chicken Parms, Mario's Meatballs, Mozz Sticks and our uncompromising New York roots, we celebrate classic yet updated Italian dishes with which our chefs grew up, in a fun, casual neighborhood setting. Our dishes are all handmade from scratch, every day, and this thoughtful authentic craftsmanship has earned us two stars from the New York Times and the title of one of the 101 Best Places to Eat in North America by Newsweek. Parm features excellent cocktails, appetizers like Mozzarella Sticks and baked clams, as well as entrees such as Chicken and Eggplant Parm. A specialty sandwich at our Mulberry location is the Ansari Sandwich. We are open for both lunch and dinner, and also offer take-out, delivery and catering. Parm is owned and operated by Major Food Group, which is a New York-based restaurant group founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick.
