The Office of Court Administration is the administrative arm of the court system that functions under the auspices of the chief administrative judge. The office provides a range of support services, including purchasing, contract procurement, accounts management and revenue processing for trial courts. It also performs information management functions that include maintaining attorney registration, retainer and closing statement information and the adoption of affidavits, as well as overseeing continuing legal education. Theffice of Court Administration also provides records management guidance, technical assistance and training services. Located in New York City, the office is governed by the New York State Unified Court System.
