Neal M. Kotin, MD is proud to serve the children of New York City's Upper East Side at Carnegie Hill Pediatrics. Dr. Kotin graduated with his medical degree in 1982 from Albany Medical College. He served his internship and pediatric residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 1988, Dr. Kotin finished his fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He's board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology. Following his pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Mount Sinai, Dr. Kotin became the co-director of the pediatric intensive care unit at the hospital from 1988-1991. Later, Dr. Kotin went into private practice as a pediatrician. In addition to his current practice at Carnegie Hill Pediatrics, he is also a pulmonary consultant at Lenox Hill Hospital. With his specialties in pediatric pulmonology and general pediatrics, Dr. Kotin not only provides general pediatric care for all children, but he can also handle unique cases for children with lung conditions. Whether your child is born with a lung condition or develops a respiratory problem along the way, they will be in good hands with Dr. Kotin. Beginning at birth, Dr. Kotin provides specialized care for premature infants with chronic lung disease. Any child who develops breathing or respiratory problems related to allergies or asthma will find relief under the expert care of Dr. Kotin. He also specialized in sleep breathing disorders, snoring, and chronic cough.
