A long sandy beach overlooking Little Peconic Bay distingishes Nassau Point Community Beach from other waterfront parks on the North Fork. The beach, which is owned and maintained by Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park District, features a playground, grills, picnic tables, a basketball hoop in the parking lot and a roped-off bathing area. Ospreys and other birds and wildlife can be seen in the extensive wetlands to the west of the beach.
