Mimi, owner of Mimi's Fusion of Flavors, has been cooking since she was 8 years old. Raised in the Dominican Republic by a family of cooks, Mimi loved being in the kitchen whenever she could. As she grew older she realized that cooking was more than an interest or hobby but something she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Over the years she has held a variety of jobs. She worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in New York City and as a Clinical Trial Associate in White Plains, New York. For the last four years she has worked as a Take Home Chef and caterer on a part time basis.Then the opportunity rose for her to follow her passion and fulfill her dreams. Mimi's passion has taken her to include promoting the freshest products, creating recipes, performing basic Spanish Style Cooking classes, and educate adults and children about the value of fresh products. Mimi's philosophy is:
