History
MHR Piano Studio was founded in 1996 with a clear philosophy that the piano teacher should take a student's musical interests and strengths into account when creating an instructional plan. A piano student's musical interests should be encouraged, whether that interest is in jazz, classical, blues, gospel, rock, pop, or any other musical style. The piano student is more engaged in the learning process when learning games and activities are utilized to make concepts like notation and sight reading more enjoyable to study and practice. Teaching piano in a computer lab environment and utilizing music technology makes piano skills and technique more accessible than ever. By utilizing the latest music education software to incorporate activities and games into piano instruction, the student becomes more interested in mastering skills, and in practicing the piano at home.
