McCann Field House in Poughkeepsie, NY is a 3,200-seat multi-purpose arena that serves as the home venue for the Marist College Red Foxes men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the women's volleyball team. Built in 1977, the arena underwent renovations in 2010 to modernize its facilities for Division 1 indoor athletics programs.
The arena is named after James J. McCann, a Poughkeepsie native who established the McCann Foundation in 1967 to support progressive human welfare work. Notable features of the arena include a maple hardwood floor donated by former NBA All-Star Rik Smits, enhanced seating, a high-energy student section, and state-of-the-art amenities such as video scoreboards and a ScissorLoc DC subfloor system for environmental control.
