The Marydell Faith and Life Center is a compound run by the Sisters of Our Lady of Christian Doctrine and can be rented for religious and spiritual retreats, gatherings, workshops, conferences and other events. The compound was founded in 1924 and 1925 as Save a Life Farm to provide inner city children with a rural experience. The Farm eventually transformed into the Marydell Camp for Girls, which closed in 1988. In 1990, the compound reopened as the Marydell Faith & Life Center.
Today, the center features a variety of facilities that accommodate retreats, including the Kateri lodge (which can house approximately 100 guests), a dining hall with a commercial-size kitchen, picnic areas and playgrounds, a swimming pool and mountain and river views.
The compound has limited space during summer, as it hosts camps for children.
