Since 1950, the Malverne Bible Church has been providing a place of worship along with programs for its congregation and other members of the community. The church welcomes non-members to participate in its youth programs, including its impressive Joyful Noise choir, which is open to kids ages 5 to 14. While the church still stands in its original location, it underwent a major renovation in 1961 and today includes a gym, several meeting rooms and a child care program that is available during regular Sunday services. The church hosts a prayer group, a youth ministry group, a men's group and also serves as a drop-off location for Operation Shoebox. It opens its doors to local community organizations, such as the Girl Scouts, who use the church to hold meetings.
