Littig House Community Center Inc. is a nonprofit incorporated agency established in 1951 to enhance the quality of life for youth and their families in Port Washington.
The target population includes those community members residing in the Town of North Hempstead, Port Washington community.
The primary mission of Littig House Community Center is to ensure that school-aged youth achieve their full potential.
Littig House believes by addressing the needs of youth and their families where they reside and provide supportive services in a non-competitive, non-threatening environment, each family will be given the opportunity to overcome social barriers.
The programs are divided into three components:

- Education
- Constructive Leisure
Institutional Goals
- To run an adequately funded service organization governed by its consumers, to address the diverse social and economical needs of the target population.
- To reduce the negative effects of social, economic and education disparities that impede social mobility and development.
- To address the education needs of youth in an effort to further their academic success.
