Lincoln Elementary School, founded in 1908, enrolls more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It was originally known as Robinson Street School. In 1911, the school was renamed Lincoln School in honor of former president Abraham Lincoln. The school offers a variety of academic courses, such as reading, science, social studies and mathematics. Its students help in broadcasting news and information on school performances and events through the school s radio station on 99.1 FM. The school provides transportation to students. Located in Schenectady, N.Y., Lincoln Elementary School is a part of the Schenectady City School District.
