Summary: I remember the very first time we met. It was a chilly November morning in 1995 when, as fate would have it, I stumbled upon the grand parade of the NYC Marathon. I was electrified! I never really knew a runner, let alone a female runner. I instantly and wholeheartedly fell in love. The very following year, in November of 1996, I knew I wanted to experience the ecstasy (and the agony). And so I did! And I didn't stop there. I have run about 50 marathons, all over the world, including 3 Boston Marathons all for which I qualified. My PR is a 3:32 in my beloved NYC marathon. As I never had a coach, my fascination about the sport left me insatiable to learn and push myself to embody the lifestyle, achievements and heart of a runner. Along the way, I have run with most NYC running clubs, taking classes along the way, and meeting fantastic people in the process. I regularly volunteer for running events and am incredibly proud to give back to the sport that continues to give so much to me. Running, to me, is a forever romance. I am humbled by it, I am in awe of it, I am grateful for all it has given me. I am honored to help others reach their own thrilling potential through running in a love story all their own.
