Lancaster High School is a public school serving the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12. Established in 1953, the school has an enrollment of more than 2,100 students. Located in Lancaster, N.Y., the school offers several advanced placement and honors classes, as well as governs career-themed academies that include the Academy of Finance and Project Lead the Way. It has sports team for track and field, wrestling and woman's volleyball. It also has a variety of clubs, including ski club, varsity club, the performing arts society, the Cayugan and the science Olympiad. Additionally, the school supports a team that participates in the MasterMinds academic competition within the state of New York. Lancaster High School is a part of the Lancaster Central School District.
