LAC Early Childhood Center offers high quality care for infants and preschool age children. All our teachers have majored in Early Childhood Education and are certified teachers. LAC utilizes the Creative Curriculum to ensure an enriched learning program in the four main developmental areas: cognitive, social/emotional, physical, and language development. Our preschool mission is to provide instruction designed and tailored to the specific educational and developmental needs of young children. Our teachers understand the importance of a warm structured environment. A key element is maintaining a ratio that supports individualized attention and the feeling of safety. Teachers and assistants work together in the preparation and presentation of lessons to ensure that students are receiving the level of support they need to grow. Our small classrooms also encourage a sense of community, assisting in students' social connections and creating real friendships. Every parent and caretaker strives to provide the best foundation for their child and the school they decide to send their child to should be a continuation of this goal.
