Owned and operated by Terry Maccarrone, Karate USA holds its classes at the Dance Center of the Hamptons, located on Old Riverhead Road in Westhampton Beach. Maccarrone, who holds numerous titles in karate and has been teaching for more than 45 years, can also travel to a client's own home for classes. Most of the classes held at the center are private or semi-private. A speciality of the school is teaching young people going away to college how to defend themselves.
