Rev. Jyogan is an established and highly regarded Reiki Teacher who has instructed 1000s of students in the Spiritual Practice of Traditional Japanese Reiki. It has unsolicited reactions all favorable PLEASE NOTE: To be honest I really dont think Yelp is a good way to find a spiritual practitioner, a spiritual practice, a spiritual leader, teacher, mentor or a guru. I dont think the Dalai Lama has a yelp page. I was pressured to make one by an employer to help bring awareness to my offerings. And I regret it. If I could delete it I would but its against yelps terms. However if this is the way in which you found me thats fine. I look forward to meeting you. Its just Reiki doesnt have any stars because it doesnt need them and honestly neither do I.
Specialties
Not all Reiki Schools are the same. Most teach Westernized Reiki that has been altered from its original form by western teachers. Rev. Jyogan teaches Traditional Japanese style Reiki that and he is one of the only teachers who teach this style in the west. Jyogan is a Reiki Shihan (Master Teacher) and a Ministerial Director. He studied all levels of Reiki directly in Kyoto Japan (Reiki's Birthplace) Our center operates out of two main locations. The first is Namaste Bookshop's Healing Center near Union Square in NYC. The Centers main office is located in Brooklyn and treatments and private classes are also available there. Reiki Sessions and private one-to-one Reiki Classes are available to be scheduled daily by appointment (walk-in appointments available every Wed evening). Group Reiki Classes are held monthly on the 2nd Sunday of the month from 3-9pm (group classes are at a special reduced price). Our Reiki Shares are held monthly on the 4th Sunday and are open to all even if you have never tried Reiki before. Our Reiki classes and treatments empower you with this direct connection to Traditional Japanese Reiki and certify you in this lineage (just 4 degrees from Reiki's originator Usui Sensei). Rev. Jyogan also provides Spiritual Counseling Sessions, Reiki Practitioner Mentoring Sessions, Reiki space clearing and home blessings, and officiates Reiki-energized wedding ceremonies. Jyogan also offers Ordination; You can become a nationally recognized Minister by Jyogan.
