The League Treatment Center is an agency for diagnosis, treatment and education of children and adults with emotional, neurological and developmental disorders. It serves more than 450 children and adults. It was founded in 1953 and provides a wide range of rehabilitation and education programs for the children. Its clinical services include psychiatric care, nursing and educational services. The center provides various rehabilitation services, such as speech, physical and occupational therapies. It offers counseling programs for children and adults. In addition, the League Treatment Center is a licensed Medicaid provider of mental health services. Its programs are certified and funded by the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and the New York State Office of Mental Health. Its staff consists of more than 300 employees. The League Treatment Center is located in Brooklyn, N.Y.
