Founded in 1822, the Jewish Child Care Association of New York is a nonprofit agency that offers care services to more than 12,000 children and their families. It is a child and family service agency that serves abused and neglected children. The association s adoption program offers home studies, postplacement supervision, educational workshops, support groups, and counseling to couples, single parents, children and extended family members before, during and after adoptions.
