After attending medical school at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Internal Medicine, I became a proud member of the NewYork-Presbyterian family, completing my training at Columbia University Medical Center in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.My clinical focus is Sleep Medicine; I am currently the Director of the Center for Sleep Disorders at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and see the full spectrum of sleep disorders. I am also clinically active in Critical Care Medicine, rounding in the medical ICU as an intensivist.My research interests are varied, but include observational and clinical trials in Sleep Medicine, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
