Dr. Khatri is an Associate Professor of Medicine of the Greenberg Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He is the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Khatri earned a Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, summa cum laude, from the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, and his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown, Ohio. He served his residency and a postdoctoral research fellowship in cardiology at University Hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Khatri completed his training with fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Emory University, Atlanta, Ga. He previously served as Director of Complex Coronary Intervention at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio prior to being recruited to NY Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center to develop the complex coronary intervention program and direct the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories.Dr. Khatri is regarded as a leading authority in the field of complex coronary intervention. Along with co-authoring numerous manuscripts on complex coronary intervention, Dr. Khatri has been an invited speaker at a host of local, national, and international conferences. He has trained numerous interventional cardiologists who now lead complex coronary intervention programs throughout the country.
