After 10 years experience in the culinary field, in early 2010 Chef Deniz determined to start a company focused on healthy, authentic cuisine. Gaining recognition was initially a labor of love, as she spent long months baking overnight in a rented commercial kitchen and sampling her goods to restaurants and wine bars during the day. Her spirited perseverance and delectable dishes quickly garnered the respect and support of many restaurant professionals who encouraged her success. Turning her hopes and dreams into a reality, Deniz launched Izmir Delights and has never been happier. She choose the iconic clock tower in Izmir (the city's famous gathering place) to represent her journey and symbolize her vision come to life. With her gourmet fare, stylish presentations and personal approach to events, Deniz continues to put her own distinctive stamp on the catering industry for New Yorkers.
