Insight Associates, Inc is a marketing research company located in Buffalo, NY that has served companies like Tyson Foods, Levelor Blinds, Kodak, NAPA Auto Parts, Cooper Tires, HSBC Bank and Ford Motors, to name a few. It is made up of individuals with extensive backgrounds in marketing, advertising, research, and direct marketing. Formed in 1990, Insight executives have been involved in more than 5000 focus groups and over 1500 surveys for both large and small companies and organizations. In 1993, Insight became aware that progressive West Coast lawyers were starting to use marketing research-type tools like focus groups for trial preparation. As a result, the company began its Legal Insights division. Today, more and more law firms are competing in the marketplace using major media. This afforded Insight the opportunity to provide still more services to the legal community; these more in line with traditional, retail-type marketing - brand strategy, brand positioning, and ad testing, to name a few.
