Greenport Pottery is just past Goldsmith's Boat Shop before the railroad bridge heading into town. It is back from the main road a bit and hidden behind grasses. Artist Joseph Mitrani has been making traditional stoneware and raku pottery for thirty years. He uses a few hand tools and a potter's wheel for all his work. Greenport Pottery's website shows the available styles and colors of pottery. The showroom has many pieces available but the artist also will make a piece to order. Those special orders will take several weeks to be filled. Greenport Pottery takes online and telephone orders.
