Fours Doors Down has been an icon in the Mattituck community since the 1930s. Originally known as The Apple Tree, it was a hot spot hosting such performers as the "Kingsmen", singing their smash sensation, "Louie Louie". Current owners, Bob and Barbara Chiapett, opened Fours Doors Down, in lieu of closing Mattituck Lanes in 2003, allowing them to remain a part of the Northfork culture.
Four Doors Down has handsomely decorated dining rooms, a nice size party room, and an active sports bar. Its menu offers lobster specials, bar food, great burgers, prize-winning chili and more.
