White Plains has five active fire stations overseeing this vast and bustling city. The two deactivated facilities are No. 4 and No. 5, used for fire-prevention programs and volunteer divisions.
Fire Station No. 7 is on North Street. Its closest landmarks are White Plains High School and the Northern YMCA. Its driveway and main entrance are about a mile down the road on Ridgeway. The building looks like a modern home with a tan exterior, making it atypical in appearance and difficult to find. Station No. 7 is home to Engine 71 and Ladder 34, courageous firefighters who serve and protect the city 365 days a year.
