This place is legendary, having been around since 1933. That's 1933 in Park Slope, the same year the neighborhood was graced with the Culver Line (now the F and G stops). You can tell the decor hasn't changed much, with the bare wood paneling and more standing room than seating. And don't let the "Grill" part of the sign be misleading - there's no food here. But if you want a real bar experience, with a group of Brooklynite regulars and a bartender who means business, Farrell's definitely deserves a visit.
