Partnership for the Homeless is a nonprofit organization that has been providing services for underprivileged people for more than 20 years. It has a family resource center that provides various services, including independent living skills training, and counseling and case management.The center also provides legal representation and advocacy services on various issues, such as benefits, employment barriers, special education, family reunification and domestic violence. Partnership for the Homeless operates a network of more than 100, volunteer-run, overnight shelters in churches and synagogues throughout New York City and it offers food services.
