AJ Picarello, former professional mountain bicyclist, has owned and operated Down Cycles in Croton since 1999. The shop is located just south of the entrance to Route 9 at the Montrose/Buchanan exit.
Down Cycles carries a wide variety of bike brands, including Santa Cruz, Avalanche, Brooklyn Machine Works, Azonic, Ellsworth, Hood, GT, KHS, Mongoose, Nirve, Fit, Black Market, Eastern, Schwinn, Sinister and Orange Mountain. The store also features mountain biking accessories from some of the more popular manufacturers.
