The Dae Han Tae Kwon Do School was established in 1974. The school has successfully taught over three thousand students through traditional Korean methods. Dae Han Tae Kwon Do maintains these teaching principles now under the direction of Master Xristos Gaglias, 5th Dan Black Belt, who has over 27 years of experience. Master Gaglias is also a New York State & Board-Certified Athletic Trainer. He holds a Master's Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training and an undergraduate degree in Physical Education K-12/Athletic Training. The Dae Han Tae Kwon Do School is an officially sanctioned school of the United States Taekwondo Union, the National Governing body for tae kwon do in the U.S.A. As such, Dae Han Tae Kwon Do is also affiliated with the United States Olympic Committee (U.S.O.C.), the sole representative of the U.S.A. to the World Taekwondo Federation and the International Olympic Committee. All tae kwon do classes are designed to meet the needs of individual students of all ages and abilities.
