Several years ago, The Caflisch Family owned and operated a lumber business in Clymer New York. Daniel Caflisch worked in the family business with his father and uncle, Bing and James Caflisch throughout his young adult life. In 1993, Dan originated Caflisch Trucking & Construction Inc ( CTCI ). The early years of the business involved hauling freight for local companies in the area. With himself and two other employees, Dan chose to further develop the corporation into a pallet recycling facility. Later in 2005, CTCI installed the ISPM 15 Heat Treat System in the plant. At that time, CTCI became licensed and certified for all heat-treating processes. This includes, but not limited to various sizes of pallets, custom built pallets, and different sized boards and bases. As a certified company, all heat-treated orders are done in house and transported to many customers throughout the area.
