Founded in 1973, The Countryman Press is a division of W.W. Norton & Company Inc. The company is one of the oldest and largest publishing houses, with its editorial and production offices in Woodstock, Vt. The Countryman Press publishes books on diverse subjects, including travel, food, gardening, country living, nature, New England history, crafts, photography and others. It releases about 70 books per year and till date has more than 350 books in print. Some of its current releases are Hook, Line & Sinister, 50 Hikes Around Anchorage, The King Arthur Flour Cookie Companion and King Arthur Flour Whole Grain Baking. The Countryman Press promotes and sells its publications to bookstores and specialty markets throughout the United States, Canada and other parts of the world.
