Tucked away on quiet, tree-lined 113th Street, Congregation Ahavath Sholom has been a mainstay of the Forest Hills community since it was established in the 1940s. The congregation has been based out of its current temple since the 1950s, where it has since flourished, serving dozens of Jewish families from throughout Forest Hills. With services held during the week and on weekends, the synagogue aims to be a central gathering place for individuals with busy schedules as well as more family-oriented worshippers. Congregation Ahavath Sholom is currently under the direction of Rabbi Saul Froimowitz.
