Checkers Drive-In Restaurant
Checkers is part of a National chain of fast food restaurants and is the biggest double drive-thru food chain in the country. Checkers offers a selection of burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches and hot dogs. In addition, it features chicken wings that come in a variety of flavors. You can get milk shakes that come in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry and french fries that are seasoned and can be ordered with chili and cheese. This Checkers is on the Southeast corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Third Avenue, across from the Nassau County Medical Center.
